It was a spectacular match. GSP was practically untoutched by Hughes. He dominated Hughes and with a great kick to the head GSP dropped hughes and then pounded him on the ground until the ref stopped the fight.

Sylvia did win too but I think that the hight and reach advantage he had over his opponent was too great for the "little" guy to do much against him. Overall it was a really boring fight as well. Sylvia wasnt aggressive , all he did was defend the take downs and throw a jab here and there. and the other guy tired take downs, only being successful twice i think but couldnt get a submission while on the ground.

All the fights were rather boring but the GSP/Hughes fight rocked.

There was also one matched that looked so fixed it was rediculous. The one dude was tired as hell and was getting beat up. His opponent had him against the cage and then for no reason the guy who was dominating just sat down , lied on his back and the guy against the cage got ontop and started hitting him until the ref stopped the fight.

GSP is one awesome fighter. As you said...very quick! Need to get a few guys together to watch a PPV like that. I will be waiting for the reruns though. Both good fighters.
As far as Sylvia, the first time I saw him fight I thought, this guy is so out of shape he will lose for sure. He is lucky to have size on his side as he would never last. Good punch though.

I have american satellite but missed it so hopefully i can catch the repeat. I was looking around at this mall where they sell copies of dvds but didnt see any UFC video yet hopefully it will be out soon

So anyone think the Tito vs Chuck match that recently went down was called off too early?? I mean tito is a veteran now and he was covering pretty well in my opinion and then the ref calls it right as he was going to make a move. Other than the one close call in the first round where lidell almost had ortiz it was a pretty close fight which could went either way.

Never saw the fight Jimbo...personally I don't like Tito...reminds me of Mike Tyson. Great fighter though.

I have the event recorded on my dvd recorder harddrive. I edited it cause i had it on a timer so basically i was able to edit out the thank you for ordering and the ending where it takes about when the encore is.
