Finding folders

I was just wondering if there was a way to find all the possible folders and subfolders from a site. I figure this is the best section to ask this question because you guys are masters at web design. Basically I'm trying to find all possible folders to my friends site because he some pictures I want to get to but I cannot find the folder. Is this even possible?

I would try accessing the "images" folder. Aside from that, no there would be no way to find this information out unless you had direct access to the server.
