Just out of curiousity what would you say is the STRONGEST and MILDEST cigarette brand out there?
Doesn't matter. All cigarettes will kill you in the end.

I dont smoke.
no such thing as mild, its all marketing
some are Super Toxic and the other are just slightly more super toxic.
The ones marked mild are actually prob worse because people will believe they are smokeing something mild and that they can smoke more of them.
As for brands the only brand i know of is Benson and Hedges because they use to sponsor the fireworks at Ontario place.
Most brand i would assume have a what they call "regular" and "mild".
The most mild will be the ones with the better filters, so do some research on filters.
and FYI if you smoke a ciggar its like smokeing 25 cigaretts. I could be wrong, and if i am someone correct me.

Export non filter will rip the throat out of you,
Medallion not sure how they stay lit you can't draw on them.
by the way the health hazards of smoking was not the question.
so any comment to that is simply flaming IMHO.

Cigars are different than cigarettes. You are not supposed to inhale cigar smoke. Cigar smokers have to worry about oral cancers rather than lung cancers.
cigars yes you are not suppose to inhale them, but i am sure there are many young ppls like me and u who inhale the whole thing.
Those French cigarettes called Gitane (sp) are pretty brutal. Way stronger than any Canuck smoke.

Just about every brand has a regular and 'mild' version.... some have a few in between too.
I used to check out all the different brands to see what's what, and from the listings on the package "Craven 'A' Ultra Mild" has the lowest numbers.
There may be other 'specialty' cigarettes that cost more that may be even milder, but I never looked at them... just the major 'normal priced' smokes.
I think that answers your question without applying any personal opinions ;)
The problem is that the labelling on a pack of cigarettes only lists a small portion of the carcinogens contained in cigarettes (Tar, Nicotine, Carbon Monoxyde, Formaldahyde, Benzene. Hydrogen Cyanide) and their relative "strength" when in fact there are dozens more in there that are lethal whether or not you smoke a so-called "light" brand.

Actually (and pardon the pun) Obesity has taken the weight of the health care system over smoking.

Are you suggesting that they should tax the hell out of fast food? Good idea.

As far as answering the original post goes, Adam is most likely the most accurate. Just marketing hype stating Mild/Light or whatever. They are all toxic to pretty well the same degree. Cigars can be much worse. Besides the fact that you inhale the 2nd hand smoke (both the smoker and those around them), there may be massive toxic chemicals also in the tobacco, not normally found in cigarettes. This is due to where they come from. So many small cigar makers, from other countries, and quality control (if you can it that for killer drugs - tobacco) is pretty lax.
Lung cancer is a horrible death ... marketing "mild or light" should be criminal.
