What browser and operating system are you using?

I'll do my machine again .. perfect copy of a clean fortified Hard Drive.
Everything works ( I don't even have to sign back on to TCM)
with USB 2 and XP it takes 3hrs for 25gig (true test time)
about to order a SCSI External and Firewire Drive to test them.
:)

You can try this utility:

IEFix 1.5 is a general purpose repair utility for Internet Explorer which repairs Internet Explorer by registering it's core DLL files and through the INF file.

Additionally if it detects Windows 2000/XP as the Operating System, it runs SFC to restore missing or corrupt Windows system files.

Could be something simple.
Check the settings in IE.

Tools/ Internet options/General tab
Temporary internet files/settings

That's where you will find the options to check for newer versions of stored pages.
On some settings you'll have to refresh manually.

Wouldn't hurt to clear the temporary internet files either.

Edit to add:

For Firefox it's different.
Clicking back button will bring up old version of page.
( I believe early versions( Firebird) always brought up new versions of page, and this was later changed )

To change this behaviour you must use about:config

find this entry in about:config:

browser.cache.check_doc_frequency

The default setting is represented by the numeral 3, and corresponds to "when appropriate/automatically." To change it, simply double-click the browser.cache.check_doc_frequency entry. A small dialog box will open. Type the numeral 1 to change it to "Each Time" and press OK. Here's a description of the available options for this particular setting:

0 = Once per session
1 = Each time
2 = Never
3 = When appropriate/automatically
