My neighbor bought a computer package that came with this printer but he is having a number of problems.....
1) text out of alignment
2) when you print an alignment page the boxes/arrows you use to set the alignment is a series of horizontal lines
3) when you print a test page you get coloured text but it is out of alignment.
4) when you do a test page showing the coloured bars the bars see okay.
5) there is a print test which shows an oval circle with products using the colour spectrum but it prints black and white.
I have.....
- uninstalled and re-installed the program from the cd supplied
- I have check and the driver is the most current driver
- I have cleaned the nozzles
- I checked it in the control panel system hardware and it seems correct
I have told him to go back to the dealer but based on what he has told me about the way he was treated I would like to be able to determine if what the dealer tells him is not a bunch of crap.
