Can I network a laser printer between two computers even though the printer does not have a network card in it? Both computers are running XP Pro. Both computers connect two a D-Link 604 wired Ethernet Broadband Router.

Technically - Yes. You can physically attach the printer to one of your PCs with a Parallel or USB cable. Then you share the printer accross the network so it's accessable by both PCs. But... the PC which is physically connected to the printer must always stay powered on for you to be able to print.

Would a network card for the printer be allot easier?
