Would like to know what tools/software people are using for anti phishing. Somebody recommended Spoofstick to me. Supposed to tell you that you are actually on the site you are supposed to be on as it was explained to me.

Interested to know if there are others that people on this forum use, and how you rate them.

Any info on this would be appreciated.

Thanks!!:)

i would wait for IE 7 to come out, it will have built in anti-phishing, other then that i just recommend to use common sense.

Another option is Netscape 8 browser... it's built in... and I've seen it pick up on bad sites twice now :o
The thing is, I also knew it wasn't the page it was supposed to be... just by looking at the address... but you can't always tell, so an anti phishing tool is a good thing to have... just in case ;)

Thanks RoSmecher I always try to use common sense, and as you suggested maybe wait for IE7.

Bluvertigo I think I will try Spoofstick for now, based on who recommended it, and your experience with it. Seems like a great app. to have for now. Thanks for your help now and other times, and also thanks for the link.

Dr. Dan thanks for the suggestion re. Netscape 8, I will look into that also.

This gives me quite a few options, and I really appreciate the feedback!!:) :)

Bluevertigo would you recommend Phishguard over Spoofstick?? I have now downloade Spoofstick, so I was wondering if you find Phishguard superior.

Thanks!!:)

Since I use Firefox as my primary browser, I'm sticking with Spoofstick. Haven't had a chance to thoroughly test Phishguard application.

I checked some reviews on Phishguard, and I think I'm sticking with Spoofstick also. I'll keep it for future consideration though.

Thanks for the info!!
