Battlefield 2 v1.01 Patch

Change log:

- Fixed in issue that caused the Multiplayer Browser to become unresponsive.
- Fixed an issue where some game controls were not available to be rebound within the Options menu.
- Fixed an issue with increasing performance degradation on servers.
- Fixed a problem with shader caching on client/host : after the first map in a rotation, shaders would be loaded on the fly during gameplay.
- Fixed a crash with rebinding LMB
- Fixed a problem that caused environment mapping to not appear on reflective surfaces.
- Fixed a crash that happened when a client picks up a kit that doesn't exist anymore.
- Fixed a problem with AI when the game was paused for a long time: bots would become unresponsive and also shoot more accurately.
- LOD distances tweaked on certain objects.

It's about time! well gonna try it out and see if it cures some problems and not make new ones.

So, how does everyone feel 'bout this game? Is it a waste of time for offline play (online only)? Until I move back to Oshawa come September/late August, I most likely won't buy BF2 because I have dial-up :(

Well I've only been playing it offline and it's a great game but they limit you to 16 player maps offline and their isn't as many aircrafts to fly since the maps are smaller. I really think they screwed up single player but you can find hacks out there that let you play 32 player in singleplayer.

the game is really designed for multiplayer.... max 64 players, i gota say its really run and addicting

Sounds cool, but that limit in single player seems dumb.

hah that above message doesn't make any sense.. !!

Well I think the limit is due to the crazy system req for the game.

Your computer wont be able to handel the AI for 15 other players ( this could be bs, i am just guessing ) cuz most computers cant even handel playing the game online
