Nice looking wheels. Lord knows GM could use a "hit" car right now that sells on its own merits without resorting to all manner of incentives and gimmicks to move unsold inventory.

The price seems right.

I think the Saturn version looks better.

I assume the Saturn is (or will be) built on the same platform as the Solstice?

btw I agree with you. That's one nice looking car (chick car?? lol). Hope the engineering is as good as its design :(

Saturn does look sexier, bolder and the backlights are the best of all

Can see the Corvette influence.

Indeed, the headlights are the exact same or a little bit different. (Referring to the new Corv)

Anyone living in the Oshawa area can see the solistic on Wentworth st in the Gm office's parking lot...they also have the SSR and a G6 which is one of my favorites

There's another 4-banger that probably handles better.

The proven Mazda Miata. :)

IMHO, both cars (Pontiac and Saturn) are UGLY. What were the designers smoking?

Those cars are based on the Vauxhall VX Lightning Concept.

After the first speed bump encountered at any speed, the Saturn isn't going to look anywhere near showroom condition.

Why do you say that "Just Doug"? My first car was a Saturn, the polymer panels still look like new. You will see MANY Saturn SC2 out on the road(thats the one with popup lights) that look like they are only 2-3 yrs old, when in reality they are close to 14 yrs old.

There's 12 Solstices in Oshawa right now. Seen two on the road, I would actually consider getting a Sky if they have a hardtop for it in the future. GREAT interior too:
http://forums.autoweek.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/31-11857-223601-2030/Saturn%20Sky%20interior.jpg

RWD, highly modifiably ECOTEC engine, same HP/weight ratio as the new miata. GM will be racing the Solstice next year!

To answer some Q's the Sky isn't out yet, (spring 2006, along with another greak looking Saturn: the Aura). But the Sky should be a tiny bit more expensive because more options are standard than the Solstice. No fretting, many things are still standard on the solstice (6spkr CD, 18" rims, disc brakes, airbags...).

And it's the new HHR that you can see in Oshawa right now (The SSR is a few yrs old now, HHR is on sale in the next couple months I think).

Aura:

HHR:

HHR is a better/bigger PT-Cruiser, but it will have it's critics. Alot of
body kits already available for it come launch...

MAn that Aura looks pretty sweat!!! Keep those rims. :)

The pic's makes the suspension looks as though the car has about 4 - 5" of ground clearance at most.
