I have it installed on it's own separate HDD & it installed just fine but I can't install my sound card drivers as it doesn't detect any sound cards even though there are 2 to be precise.
I also have XP Home & XP X64 installed on separate partitions/HDDs & they see the cards just fine.
Any ideas??

I'm far from an expert on this, but my guess is you are at the beginnings of the Vista DRM nightmares. For your sake, I hope not. A *lot* of hardware vendors do not yet have drivers available for Vista as I understand it.

But even so, it should still see the cards at least. There are creative drivers but they won't install since the card hasn't been installed even though it is physically installed.
Neither one of my sound cards are listed in device manager.

True, one would expect that they would be seen. You don't suppose its one of those odd things like Hauppage? They insist the tuner cards do not go into a specific slot (or must go in a specific slot). I never checked if that was an XP or hardware requirement (and it currently doesn't matter).

I have an Auzentech X-Plosion & a Creative Audigy2 ZS physically installed & both work under the other 2 OSes.
I tried going through add new hardware in control panel but it's not listed their either.

I realize this may be clutching at straws, but have you tried (or do you want to try) booting without the cards physically there, power down, then re-installing them?

That I have not tried since they work fine in the other 2 windows.
If I do it, I would only do it with the Audigy as the Auzentech won't have drivers for a couple weeks yet.

I had that already but didn't try installing it since the hardware wasn't installed yet & normally the drivers will say it can't find the supported device.
But the beta vista driver installed the hardware & the software for it.
