Here is something which I just found today. Not sure of this is a bug or what. But it's been reported to gmail/google.
my account on gmail is digiital@gmail.com but guess what, if you send a message to d.i.g.i.i.t.a.l@gmail.com I will STILL get the message at digiital@gmail.com add all the periods you want. It still gets there.
Interesting!!

Well, that's just to make sure that you get your email - period!

that's interesting because I have a gmail account that is my first name then a "." then my last name. I'll have to check this out.

I just tried it with removing the '.' in the email address... and it goes through just fine too .... hmmmmmm..... :tch:
I tried logging in without the dots and it won't let me in... but emails will go through... odd...

Coming to light?
Update: As may users have pointed out Ars has since corrected the story, stating that the original submitter was mistaken and the email was just improperly addressed.
