I have a Toshiba U200-PT3 with a Billion Bluetooth PCMCIA card installed. It was automatically detected under XP but is a no go with Vista.
If I remove or insert the card the computer makes a noide seeming to indicate that it is aware that hardware is being added or removed. In Device Manager I get a "Bluetooth" category whenever the card is instaleld and I have a "Bluetooth RFBUS", "Bluetooth RFHID", and "Bluetooth Generic Radio" all listed as sub headings. Everything says that the "Device is installed and working properly." However, none of the lights on it indicating power or data transfer light up. I know it still works as I tried it out on some XP machines and there was no problem.
