Just wondering some how this got changed and I don't like it
When you click on my pictures or any folder on my desktop when you double click it to open it it comes up that you have to search for everything, don't understand that and when I right click on it and scroll down to explore than it will open up for me and you can see what is all in the folder...here is an example.
thank you

You may want to run windows update. Are you running SP1 or SP2?

When you click on "My Pictures" from the start menu, does it work properly?
Another option (if it's lost it's link) right click on the desktop folder and click on properties, that should open in the shortcut tab, then click on "find target". That should open the folder, if it doesn't then your link is corrupt and will need to be re-established.

You can check your desktop shortcuts integrity by running www.CCleaner.com and scan for issues.
