Help.:rrg: I Install Simply Mepis 3.3 on my laptop it is a great OS system from a CD with was purchase true eBay. Now my problem is how do I get back to my window system (XP) is there any one who can help me out of this. I tray to uninstall Mepis it is not working and I don't know how to do this? Please help me!

What do you actually want to do? If Mepis is the only operating system on the PC then you can simply install a different OS in its place. If it's a dual-boot system with Windows and you want to retain the latter, then boot into Windows, open a command-line window, and type
fdisk /mbr
which will restore the master boot record to its original Windows version. After this the partition(s) which were used by Linux can be reformatted and used for something else.

Thanks Frogy, I'm in the process doing it now with Compaq QuickRestore System Recover CD on my laptop. Hope this will work (so far so Good) and I will download SimplyMepis 3.3 on my Desktop in the future. With your help if this is ok with you and it is so nice that there are people that will give you a hand.
