Strange CD Drive Problem

I go to install Doom3,put disc 1 into the CD Drive,installs ok,then it asks to insert disc 2..it won't read.So I have go to restart the computer...disc1 works fine,disc 2 works fine,when it asks me to insert disc 3...won't read again..So I had to restart it AGAIN!Then it finally installs after 3 restarts!!!!!

It plays all my other CD's just fine.It done this with Diablo2 and World of Warcraft as well(during installion).It's just when I go to switch from disc 1 to disc 2..just don't get it???. :rrg:

Oh..I am running Windows XP Home Edition,1GB of RAM,160GB HD and a 3Ghz processor.

I'm not sure if you are running any of these but it seems Doom 3 is persnickety. This site may be of help, sorry but I'm not a gamer so others may offer better support.

if you have any problems like that again try copying the contents of the cd to the hard drive and installing from there
