Hey all,

Couple of my collegues told me about Vista. Is it true that if there is something illegal or malicious saved on your computer that microsoft can go in and automatically delete it??

So does that mean i can't use bit torrent or azureus for tv shows or mp3's?

Torrent apps like bit comet etc, are not illegal.

As for MS doing that, they would need to scan your pc would they not? Then that would be an invasion of privacy.

The EULA allows for the deletion of "unauthorized programs". It is basically so Windows Defender can automatically delete spyware. MS is not going to start deleting all of your warez.
