Avg 7.5

Please help me!!
I am trying to download the new version of avg 7.5 and I keep getting a meesage of Installation failed. 1 error occured.
"the process cannot access teh file because it is being used by another process (32)% destination%= ect.....

I tried to unistall 7.1 avg and it says the same thing.
I ahve tried it many times inbetween restarting my computer!

Please help 7.1 has expired.
Is there something else you could reccommend if I can't get this to work?

I have been using Avast for some time now and it works great. Free version is available here. http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

You need to shut down AVG before upgrading to 7.5

If that still won't work, then uninstall it then install 7.5

If your upgradeing your AVG to the latest version 7.5 try this

Run the AVG Free Edition 7.5 Setup program
Click "Next >" on the AVG "Welcome!" screen
Click "Accept" on the "License Agreement on Use of an AVG Free Edition" screen
Select "Repair installation" on the "Select Setup Type" screen and click "Next >"
Select "Restart the computer now" (pre-selected by the program automatically) and click "OK" on the "Installation Complete!" screen to restart your computer and complete the installation
