For Rogers Users please post your usage every two weeks please

Can everyone on Rogers post there Usage here every two week's.. Rogers is give problems, and they say I'm running a server or something. Or I File sharing a lot. The thing is I help fix my friends computers by remote access most of the time, and when they bring there computers over I do windows updates. Last billing date I had 83 gigs. I told Rogers what I was doing, and they said they will look into it. What ever that means! If Rogers can not handle to load that they have to get on the backs of there users about how much they download. Then they should not go out, and buy fido or anyother companys or services.. So please post your usage every two weeks or everytime your on the new billing time. Thanks, and no I can you change to Bell or any other DSL the lines in the area are not so good.

Wow 83gigs! Get Rogers Usage Measurement tool that monitors bandwidth usage.
Sympatico High Speed, High Speed Ultra and Dial-up members have unlimited bandwidth usage allowance. My average usage rarely above 5gigs, and thats 2 users.

Dude. If your this unhappy with Rogers you really need to look at another Isp. There are lots of DSL companies to choose ( that have unlimited usage) from perhaps doing a search at www.canadianisp.com may help you.

60 gigs is alot of bandwith most people dont even use that in a year. You may also want to consider upgradeing to the new 6mb service bandwidth is 100 gigs a month if your doing that much downloading.

I know some people that are capped at 5 gigs a month I personally use only 4 gigs a month and mine is unlimited.

I'm surprised Mr. Rogers hasn't slapped a cap on you and told you you need a Business Account or else.

That's a pile of Windows updates and "remote" work. 50MB per shot would be over 1600 computers per month. Even 200MB each would be over 400 per month - lots of friends. Do you ever sleep?

And I have been download alot. Atleast I think so.

You could be more then likely running a bot of some sort. Run Adaware/SpyBot and some (atleast 2 maybe) antivirus programs to make sure your system is clean.

Last month I was up to 57 GB but there were like 2 WRC races I downloaded and 3 F1 races, plus the V8 Supercars race, DTM, and BTCC. Was a busy month for me.

Currently with 5 days I have 3 gigs in my favour ;).

I dont believe you. You cant rack up 83 gigs, updating windows...sorry.

Downloading Windows maybe, but I have 5 computers, and I am constantly downloading. I havent made it to 83 gigs yet. You're obviously doing somethng you arent supposed to.

Well I would change to DSL, but the lines in my area are not so good. I've tried getting DSL, and so did 3 other people on my street. The speed are almost like dial up do to the poor lines. Right now I'm low in money, and can not upgrade. Never said I was unhappy with rogers. It's just it would be nice if they can get there act together. They seem to think that if you have high usage that your using file sharing or running a server. Thank you for your tip, and help.

I think they might push me to that, but I help friends for $0. I told them that I help my friends out with there updating. I sometimes have a small lan party..

Well I also play online games, and listen to radio station from over sea's. Plus listen to a few pod cast as well. No file sharing.
