Just switched to Vista Ultimate - and since then, when I click on any HTML links in a Outlook 2007 message - I get:

I have searched for a fix - and have not been able to find anything that works (everything I've found reference XP and Outlook 2003).

I'm using:
Vista Ultimate (32-bit) - all current updates
Office 2007 - all current updates
Firefox 2.0.0.2 (default browser)

I have read that this can somehow be related to no default browser being set - I have switched to MSIE7 as default (then switched back) - I have repaired the Office 2007 installation - I have updated Firefox to the most current release to fix the default browser issues - switched to Thunderbird as the default email client (then switched back) = same thing.

Anyone have any idea as to where I can look for a fix?

Thanks in advance,

Bogie

Check your security settings in Outlook. Most likely has also disabled attachments. Just uncheck the appropriate boxes and you should be back to normal.

Which security settings? Everything that I can find look fine - and attachments are fine (both sending and receiving).

Just for anyone else that may experience this - I found the fix.

Open the "Default Programs" window from the start menu.
Click on the "Set program access and computer defaults".
Expand the "Custom" section.
Set the option in "Choose a default web browser" to MSIE or Firefox (whichever you use).
Close both your web browser and Outlook.
When you restart Outlook - this should now be fixed.(At least it worked for me).
