We had a ****er spaniel when I was little and I remember him coming home one day with a face full of quills. Poor guy.

Ouch! if I did not see the pictures, I wouldnt have believed the story! I cannot believe that a pitbull got owned! I thought it owned everything it attacked! I guess not!

Never play with porky. When we lived in Muskoka we had a Sheltie that went after a porky and landed up with quills in her mouth. Painful lesson and costly trip to the vet.

Had a Lab that did that too, 74 quills in the dogs lips,tongue and face. Took 2 hours to remove and I imagine the process was painfull, although she was quite happy when it was all done.

Going by the number of quills I have a feeling the dog went after the porky more than one time

After seeing those pics, they should rename the dog "Pincushion"
