View Full Version : How do I

put 4 photos on one page that I can import into a website. I use individual pictures now but I see some people load the 4 small pictures where I would have only 1. I have photoshop and of course word and publisher. It's probably quite simple if you know just where to put it together. As an example instead of the avatar I have, I would want to be able to have the 4 pictures in the same space.

Thanks

Do you mean changing pictures of same size? Animated .gif?

Or one picture with 4 pics in it?

One picture with four pictures in it. I can do it with easy jpeg program but I don't have a choice to save it, I have to print it and I want to save it to import into another program.

You can do it in PS Elements
file>print layouts>picture package
pick your layout>4 then add a pic...you wil get 4 the same...then click on one...browse to your next pic...continue that till you have the 4 that you want

Do you mean like this? Easy to do in PhotoShop.
Create a larger NEW item - larger canvas than you need
Open each picture you want to use
Size each one to what you each one to be
Drag and drop each resized image onto the larger NEW canvas
Position as desired
Then save as a PSD in case you want to rework it later
CROP the whole thing to dimensions you want
THEN export as whatever format you want to use
USE the SAVE FOR WEB option.

Dakota - I have Photoshop 6 and am not seeming to find that option. Although that sounds like exactly what I want.

Bogie - Not seeming to have any luck with that. When I save the 4 pics together as a PSD - I go back to it and I only have one picture.

Hi Lynda
Go to file>automate>picture package

I had to learn this for eBay...post 4 pics...pay for 1

Hi Lynda - I just discovered that the Collage setting in Picasa 2 does this very easily. Picasa 2 is free from Google, just do a Google search for Picasa 2, then download it.

This is exactly what I wanted and it is simple too. Thanks so much.
