Minimum Resolution

Just curious what the minimum resolution for Vista is. I presently run XP at 800x600. My wife likes the bigger icons. As her eye sight isn't that great.

Without actually changing my resolution, the slider allows me to go down to 800x600.

In Vista you can run at higher resolutions and use large icons too. You can also increase the font sizes so that they are larger.

You should use 1024x768 at a minimum (75hz refresh rate min.) then just use the Display Properties to set "Large Fonts" or "Extra Large Fonts" and (under effects) large icons.

I prefer 1280x1024 with the above adjustments.
