View Full Version : Aircard
I like to bring my laptop to the cottage and would like to connect to the internet.
I am with Rogers hispeed at home.
Rogers told me I needed a Sony Ericson GC83 aircard.
Does that mean that Rogers would be my ISP?
Would I have to pay more than I am paying right now?
Has anyone used this aircard and how does it perform.
Any info on this would be appreciated.

A little product info

Staying with Rogers would probably be your least expensive route but others may know better. (I use sympatico and I'm not that familiar with Rogers)
Good luck.:)
Thanks Frogy, I already have the product info.
I'm assuming that with an aircard, I will be connecting to the internet via satelite. Does Rogers have that service or will I have to go to another provider such as Telus?
If Rogers does have that service, will it cost me more than what I am paying for now for hispeed in town. The service person I talked to at Rogers could not give me the info I needed, that's why I came to TCM.
Are there any Rogers hispeed users out there who have an aircard on their laptop and use it where there is no cable service?
