I think my computer is infected with drivecleaner.com. What is the best way to remove it.

Don't waste your time with that cleaner as it won't let you remove anything without buying it. Try this online scanner, it's free!

TrendMicro took out DriveCleaner and a few others. It found MS04-028 but could not remove it. I scanned for MS04-028 but it was not found. I am up to date on Windows XP patches so MS04-028 is probably not able to function anyway. Thanks

Owg, glad to hear. I tend to run a TrendMicro scan at least once a month just to be safe. :)

I also took the advice from baize 1 and installed AVG "free" anti-spyware program. It is really a 30 day trial and then backs off to limited coverage if I Don't buy it.

I've used it for sometime now and it does,nt force you to buy it. It just does'nt allow automatic upgates and the background scanner after the thirty days. It does however still allow manual updates.
