Hey guys

i had just recently done a system recovery for my windows xp since there was some problems with the os.

After it was completed other probelms started happening like when windows would load and it would come to the blue welcome screen it takes at least 5 mins to load is very long compared to how it loaded before.

Also when i would boot the computer the mouse and keyboard doesn't work and would have to restart the computer again for it to work. It's pretty weird because the computer wouldn't freeze just the mouse and keyboard don't work but when i restart it works fine

Do u guys have any idea what's wrong
thx 4 ur time

What problems were there before you did a recovery?

my computer kept on restarting by itself

That could be and hardware issue and have absolutely nothing to do with the operating system.

Possible causes:

- faulty memory (RAM)
- Bad sectors on hard drive
- defective motherboard capacitors (Leaking? Bulging?)
- Processor overheating (Is the heatsink clean? Fan working?)
- Insufficient chassis cooling (case fans?)
- Fluctuating voltages (incoming power from outlet "clean"?)
- Bad power supply
- Bad PCI card(s)
- Damaged/missing files

my computer kept on restarting by itself
So now you get an error (bsod) message?

yes i have checked all of those probelms and they all seem to be working fine
and my computer has stopped restarting by itself

the only problem i have now is that whenever i boot my mouse and keyobard don't work i have to restart the computer again for it to work. I just was wondering why i have to keep doing that for windows to detect my mouse and keyboard.
