Thanks everyone....

Got them from a friend who's son lives in an apartment building over there and he took the pics.

They now say it will cost over $4 million to fix :eek:....up from the original "estimate" of $1 million. I'm certainly no expert but that seems exhorbitant to me :rrg:

What's fortunate is that the cops got there fast enough to close the road without anyone driving right into it. This will cause traffic chaos on the side streets in the area. Finch Ave. is a major east-west arterial road.

I would suggest the Roads Department consider removing some stop signs on selected side streets.

Otherwise the result could be nasty.
