If you're going to allow viewing of HTML, make absolutely sure to disable the loading of remote images!
Sorry, but what is the definition of 'remote images' ?
Do you mean all I have stored in my picture folders ?
Please excuse my ignorance.
cheers and thanks for replying.

HTML is neat because it can included specially formatted text (bold, italic, etc) and images. Some images come included with the email, others are pulled from the web when you view the email. The HTML code has special instructions that inform Outlook Express to grab those images from the web to display in the email. This is a method many spammers love to use. Those images are pulled using an instruction that can personally identify you so they know who is viewing the email. That way, they know your email address is valid and it's open-season to flood you with everything they got. Not to mention sell your email address to other spammers.
It's very very common practice.
Thamks guys & gals. I appreciate all your input
Sincerely
Cheers...have a great day
