Windows live messenger ...doesn't show my xbox live contacts

Is this feature only in the latest beta version? I read somewhere that Windows Live Messenger shows your xbox live contacts...I downloaded the latest messenger and it didn't show anything regarding xbox stuff.

its not available yet, this should be implemented with the next 360 system update in a couple of months.
