spybot or avg which residence sheild is better

Just a quick question. Comparing spybot or avg spyware tools which residence sheild is better?

neither is better..they do different things...avg runs on its own...
spybot needs to be updated an run once in awhile to remove crap from your computer
alot of people here use both spybot and adaware to remove crap from their comps.

As rileydog stated, I use spybot resident and do periodic scans with AVG. If you are using IE, spywareblaster is a good resident too. I have Avast as my resident shield.
