I know this isn't a big issue, but how come when you maximize any window, the aero glass feature doesn't work??

Ask Microsoft... This is what they say to developers:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/07/04/Aero/default.aspx
The final parameter, fTransitionOnMaximized, is a bit misleading. Since the glass effect is turned off on windows that are maximized, you'd think this flag would have something to do with that. This flag actually controls whether or not the window transitions to the maximized color when there is a maximized window on the desktop. Unfortunately, if you set this parameter to true, when you render the window you'll get a region without the transparency, just the aurora effect.

Since the glass effect is turned off on windows that are maximized,
That is confusing considering that it's enabled on default on mine when a window is maximized. I have the glass effect along the top of the window.
What would be the point in having it turn off on normal use of the window? Would that not make the glass effect redundant since you can't see it when the window is minimized???
The top of the window being the titlebar in question.

When you say you have the glass effect, you mean it's transparent when your window is maximized? Please post a screenshot.
TO Exmortis...thanks for the links...I didn't realize it did this until now.

Keep in mind that it's just the titlebar. My system tray at the bottom is also transparent.

Look at the top of the background where it's lit up.

Now look in the second pic & you will see that lit up area showing through the titlebar.
Now, I am not sure if the entire window is supposed to be transparent though.

That's not maximized. A maximized window's middle button looks like two windows overlapping.
The first image isn't maximized, the second one is.
