I've had my Dell Axim X3i for over a year, and when I went back to school in January I never really used it, atleast not for the PDA functions. I mainly used it for mp3 and video playback, which has now been replaced by my PSP now.

Had a Palm VII, used it shortly, then got a T23 laptop, so gave that to my cousin. I think Ryerson and other universities has some free hotspots so if you are comfortable surfing the web on a PDA then you can get a Wifi enabled PDA and use that to blow some time during a break or something.
