How to Stop Dial Up Pop Up ?

For reasons only a twisted mind knows, my Dial up box now pop's up every time I start my confuser.

How would I disable this popup?

I prefer to start the dial up thru IE when I start the program

There's a software somewhere on your machine that is trying to reach somewhere on the Internet. And Windows, in all its wisdom, attempts to open the Internet connection to accomodate that software.

Without more info, it's impossible to tell you more.

You can try backtrace to source, by using software firewall such as Sygate.
