Vista and Radeon X1600

I posted this question on another forum but not getting any responce. Porblem is when I go to install Vista Ultimate, it goes thru all the steps but at the last reboot i get the black screen and flashing cursor. If I install using an old nvidia TNT2 32 MB card it works fine....untill I put the Radeon back in (it still works) but when I try to install drivers (claimed to be Vista ready by ATI) then boom, black screen again. Anyone else have this problem?

I have an X1300 running fine on vista. Did you unistall the Nvidia drivers before trying to install the X1600? Try using the Omega drivers and see if it works. I can use either with no problem.
