Is their any World of Warcraft Players here? all I really hear about here is GW. Im getting my own account for WoW Within an hour. Is their anyone that plays on the Stormreaver Realm?

BTW to thouse who think that WoW is expensive, If u get the game card numbers from ebay, youll save about 10 bucks for 60 days.

I've been playing WoW on Bloodhoof with a few friends for about 6 months. I know I said I didn't like WoW and that I was into EQ2; well that changed. EQ2 blows and I've been having a fun time with WoW... it's very addictive.

Anyways, Bloodhoof is a great server, I am the guild leader for a small guild of friends called Project Calamity. I have a 60 Undead Mage, 60 Tauren Druid, 30 Orc Shaman, and other characters.

GW's is popular because it is free to play. WOW and any other online game is a scam, only because it is wrong to ask people to continue to pay monthly for a game you already bought. But WOW does look like a good game, from what I have seen. I simply refuse to fork over more money hand over fist to play a game I own. As many others here would agree with. There are enough bills to pay, let alone to play a game. :)

You obviously don't understand MMORPG's then. GW isn't an MMORPG: it isn't. Do more research before you say something like that. There are real reasons that you have to continue to pay. Not to mention, $20 is not much to ask for... that's one night to the movies for yourself with food and drink. At a movie, you get a couple hours of entertainment, with an MMO you get many, many hours.

I'll just give you a few reasons why you are charged to play an MMORPG...

-server cost which is very expensive, not to mention repairs and server updates
-content updates
-GM's and developers... they have to survive, too, you know

Oh, and if you're thinking.. well GW has all of that.. well here's reasons why it is free...

-instanced... the whole bloody game is instanced, save for cities
-it's basically Diablo 2 with a graphical version of the chat rooms (cities)
-there's only ONE server because your own computer is taking the load in instances (which the game is made of)
-no real updates...
-it's like you're on rails and there's no real depth (crafting, etc)
-basically a single player game

There are more reasons for why you pay for a REAL MMORPG, those are just the basics.. there are also MORE reasons why GW isn't a real MMO but that pretty much sums it up... Also, those things I said about GW are not opinion at all, they are fact.

I played GW for about a week and it bored the crap outta me... there's no depth and I felt as though I was playing a single player game.

Been playing on Lightning's Blade since launch, with my 60 priest and (rarely) my 49 druid. My guild just defeated the first boss in BWL this past week, so I'm pretty happy. :)

Im on Stormreaver, Got a lvl 23 (Almost at 24) Tauren Shaman, and a hardly played lvl 5 Tauren Hunter.

Goddamn, I hate Alliance SOB's! I could say more on the subject, but I'll leave that to the children on the official WoW boards.

Yea, The alliance are annoying, every time i go into Booty Bay for a few minutes, like 5 of them gank me, So every time they come into teh Barrens I come and keep killing them so that they spend like 40 minutes trying to get by. That and Tarren Mill, Its almost always under a constant high level raid on my realm.

And IMO Alliance is harder to level up in the 10-20 range, For horde 11-24 IS Really quick and easy, but from 5-10 is long.

So far the instances ive done, were RFC and WC, which was a good challenge with 4 others.

How much honor you guys got? I have like 673 on my Shaman, Which is like 160 kills in one week, just waiting for the rank updates.

And a little hint, i think this is alliance only, not sure, But if you set /chicken as a macro, and go up to a chicken and keep doing it to the chicken, eventually it will say maybe you should inspect it, then if u right click it i think, itll give u a quest to get special chicken feed, which u can get on SAldeans Farm in Westfall. go back to the chicken click it and type /cheer, click complete Quest and an egg will come out, right click it, and you get a free pet chicken :). Also if u play on my realm as horde, i can make you mechanical squirrels :p

I have a level 23 undead mage on the Dragonblight sever.I also have a level 21 paladin on the bonechewer server.I do not play the pally much as I was getting rather bored with him.The undead mage is awesome,it's the character I should have made in the first place.

I'm in a small guild called "Graveyard Minions",at the moment.Hopefully I will see a few of you guys on the Dragonblight server one day.

My guild is at Nefarian too (as of last week). We've only pulled him once, so we're just starting to learn it.

As for legendary items, our guild has the worst luck on the server. We have enough ingots for a Hand of Ragnaros, but no Eye of Sulfuras. We almost have enough elementium for a Thunderfury, but we haven't seen a single binding from Garr or Geddon since we started killing them in June. Meanwhile, another guild (also at Nefarian...us and them are way ahead of everyone else in BWL) has a Thunderfury, and two nub groups that can't even do Razorgore have Eyes of Sulfuras but not enough ingots. Sigh.

We finally got Nef down last night. It took some tweaking and everything. Might I say that Alliance is EZ-Mode for Nef. So much BS, anyways, we are Horde and we faught and won. Only the second Horde Nef kill on the server. Go Team!

We downed him a second time on Sunday. BWL is extremely fun, I enjoy the actual content much more than MC.

Go Mages and Arcanist / Netherwind are getting some good buffs. Also we are able to conjure 10 waters instead of 4.

Raid ID reset's are going to be odd (MC, BWL, AQ) reset's on server maintenance day. Meh

I read the notes whic are not yet official and I'm afraid a lot of my favorite mods are gonna be broken to pieces. Some drastic changes are coming to different parts of the UI.

It will take a couple days to get everything the way you want it, but meh, I welcome the change. I don't know how the chinese farmers are on your server, but I'll be farming Tyr's hand and I get random "food" "water" and no please, thank you or anything. It's annoying, or they will just open a window. It's stupid.

That's what they do for me too. They simply run up to me, open a trade window and expect me to drop whatever I'm doing to comply. And being in IF is a real pain lately. Non stop requests for food/water and for portals. Had to HS myself to Darnassus for some peace and quiet. I love being able to teleport. :)

As I read the notes, I was counting the mods that are going to me changed dramatically. Not just some small changes, but drastic ones because the new patch changes things a lot. Like the new warlock soulbag. That will affect ShardTracker in a big way. GuildProfiler and CharacterProfiler (we use that for our guild roster) will need some heavy changes too because of guild panel changes. I'm also a heavy user of Loothog (a requirement to handle rolls in a 40 men raid), but the changes to the looting/rolling system might make it obsolete or require heavy changes (the author commented on those changes).

If the authors use the test realms to develop and be ready for release, it'll be great!! But few do. This sure is going to be fun! :)

I see that enchanters are getting some good loving too. Great, more reputation grinding to get the rare recipes. I just finished being revered with the Thorium Brotherhood.

Well my guild just took down Nef. Yay us. Kinda nice to know you have completed all of the high end content in the game. :)

I'm really looking forward to the 1.9 patch. Lots of nice changes, plus AQ to work through (and get more epic lootz :P).
