well it appears torrentspy.com and mininova.org have both been blocked by rogers high speed Internet and comcast (there might be other isp's as well), try using a proxy server, and the page loads again, isn't it great how isp's are playing big brother with us now huh?

Really? I got on that site yesterday (torrentspy) without any problems. Is this something that changed recently?

Ok, good I'm at work so I'm not going to try and go to those sites. I saw the post at digg.com so I thought I would post it here as well.

(Can't remote desktop to my home machine right now, they changed the works IP, and I have my firewall only allow connections from the works IP)

Try www.mywebexpc.com (http://www.mywebexpc.com). We use it all the time at work and you can get a free account to control of to 5 machines. It uses HTTP so you can easily go through any firewalls and also control any work machines from your home. Our company uses Webex a lot for Internet video conferencing so I know it's a company you can trust. Anyhoo, I use it all the time to control my server at home. ;)

Just an FYI since it sounds like you could use that.

The problem is I have locked down my firewall. I SSH tunnel into my machine(linux firewall), and I have setup the SSH to ONLY allow my works IP to SSH into the box, instead of allowing the SSH to allow anyone to connect. This morning the internet went down at work(it's a large company) so I'm thinking they transfered our connect to another backbone with a different IP.

So once I SSH into the box(when it's working :) ) I can then tunnel into ANY box on my network at home. Works REALLY great and I don't have to open up works all over my firewall, just a SSH connection and I can roam all I want in my network.
