Bit Comet port forwarding !!!!

I was wondering if anybody is using Bit Comet to tell me if they are using port forwarding, and what ports they opened. Does it really make a difference?

I am using port 24999, it was the first one that came up after i pressed the choose random port button. I don't think it makes too much of a difference which port you choose as long as it is a high one. I have been able to max out my connection recently using it (420k) on a private tracker.

If you are experiancing difficulties downloading, then choose another port... when it slows choose another one... and so on and so on...
