We are having a party with 200 people attending. Can anyone recommend a sight that can tell me how much ceasar salad, carrot sticks, celery, cucumber, etc...that I need to buy?
Thanks in advance.

Look here (http://www.cafeatnoonefalls.com/catering.php), under How much food do I need?
Where is the "How much beer do I need" site.

Are you going to be doing some of the food yourself and want to know how many bags of carrots, etc. to buy?

Yes I will be preparing most of it myself.

There is a lot of good information at Ellen's Kitchen (http://www.ellenskitchen.com/bigpots/index.html).
Have fun and good luck! :)

Thanks Debbie, very good sight with lots of info. Just what I was looking for.Party isn't til the end of July but need to get my list started! Thanks again.
I use to work in a few different produce departments.
I would visit the local weekend farmers market. Look for the people with the commercial boxes by their trucks (ie: not farmers)... these people go to the food terminal, buy cases of things, and sell them at the markets. No different than the local grocery store.
But, if you talk to one of these people, you're going to get a really good price on a couple of cases of romaine. Deduct 30% from the shelf price he or she is charging and start negotiating.

You find it incongruous that she throws great parties without the knowledge of planning enough food??
I do believe you have a point.

Some family but mostly friends. Bunch or car club members that will be coming for a cruise. Mustang people.
