View Full Version : What the!!!(MSN not working in FF)

So look at this BS MSN is tryin to pull. Try going to WWW.MSN.COM in FF(I'm running deer park). I get the follow message.

"Why does MSN look like this?
Your browser cannot find our style and presentation information. You’re welcome to use the page as is, or upgrade your browser to its latest version. If you’re using Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to the Microsoft Internet Explorer website to install the latest version. If you are using another browser, see your browser’s website for more information."

But funny enough www.msn.ca works fine.

By FF, you mean FireFox? The page displays just fine for me. No problems.

The only site that will simply not work with Firefox is our internal Siebel support site at work. Only IE works on it.

Well heck! I run Firefox 1.0.4. www.msn.com works just fine for me... Don't know what to say.

Here is an extension, which you may find useful:

User Agent Switcher Extension for Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla adds a menu and a toolbar button to switch the user agent of the browser.

I'm running FF=Firefox deerPark Alpha 1 build 20050707. So might be something with this build/alpha

Not working for me. FireFox 1.0.4
Brings up the full TEXT page of MSN.com
www.msn.ca is sympatico.msn.ca, and it works fine.

Ha! Now it's no longer working for me. Looks like Microsoft is purposely targetting competing browsers. It was working perfectly fine for me earlier.

Ahh heck... It's not even working with Avant Browser and that's using the IE engine. Dumb Microsoft...

I'm using FF 1.04 - tried it several times - so far always works fine.
