We lost two of our three cats over the years due to illness. Smokie the third one is now like 15 years old and we thought that he might enjoy to have another cat / bud.
We didn't want a kitten and started to look around and found www.petfinder.com and after a short search we found Sterling which is supposedly a Maine Coon and tabby cross. After a couple of phone calls we were able to adopt Sterling and brought him home Monday.
He's a cute guy and we have no clue how old he is. He must have been with people previously since he loves to hang around us all the time. Smokie was anything but pleased to find another cat in his house. A lot of hissing went on and after about 4 days now they seem to start hanging around with each other.
The two dogs, a Lhaso and Shizu would like to chase him like they do Smokie but he has no part of it and swats them whenever he can.
So here's Sterling, then Sterling on the bottom and poed Smokie on the top of the stand and the last one is getting somewhat closer.
