Guild Wars on Vista [Archive] - The Computer Mechanics Family

Ever since playing guild wars on vista, I get really bad lag. Anyone else have this issue and if so is there a vista patch that i may not be aware of for this?

I've been playing Guild Wars on Vista and haven't had any problems. Perhaps try compatibility mode? I don't have it on... but it might help.

Maybe you need a driver for your video card to work properly in Vista?

Law, that was the first thing I had thought of, and it did not work. This is very baffling to me because the rest of my games work just fine on vista, but guild wars is choppy as all heck.

Helped 150% with the performance issues I was having playing City of Heroes...

Deb, yes I had downloaded those and yes I noticed a dramtic improvment , accept in guild wars lol. I will keep trying Guild wars...mabye it is thier servers..Thanks anyways.
