O.K. Here is what I want to do. I have an old Handspring Visor and a not as old Sony Clie. I am going on vacation and would like to do a journal of all the things that I see and do. What I would like to do is take the Visor with me because it uses AAA batteries, (and I write Graffiti almost as fast as I print on paper) to write my stuff in datebook using the daily journal option. Bring the Palm Pilot home and get the info onto my computer as a txt/ word file. I have no cables for the Visor. And all the data transfer I do between the Sony and my computer is by using a card reader and writing to my Sony stick. So what I was going to do is beam the entries from the Visor to the Sony after cutting and pasting them into the note function of the Visor. And then copying those notes to the stick and then from stick to computer. Is there a better way to do this? Am I going to lose the time/ day stamps when I copy? Any suggestions appreciated.

A) Yes, you will probably lose the time/date stamps.

B) Because you are dealing with two different memory cards, and absent a computer that you can cross-sync on, no, there's not really any better way that I can think of other than using a notepad or a word processing application on both PDAs that allows you to beam entries directly between the two (i.e. QuickOffice, MobiOffice, or one of the numerous diary apps that supports beaming of records.)
