I am curently using Fedora core 4. I wanted to know if there was a Linux distro that was a little easier to use or if it is worth trying to learn more on Fedora. I like fedora but have no experience with Linux. I use Win XP and OSX. I have no experience with terminal and find it difficult to instal programs. Any one know of a good site to learn Linux. I have found a few but what they tell me to do does not work for me.

Thanks

You could try Linspire.

Deb's reviewed it here:
"Linspire Five-0 is one of the easiest flavours of Linux I've had the opportunity to use."

It's a free download 'till September 6th
"For the next few days, you can obtain a free digital copy of Linspire"

I personally think Fedora would be good to stick with. I have tried other flavours of linux and by far have found Fedora to be the easiest, especially with hardware detection during installation.

Here is a great site that explains in steps how to setup Fedora Core 4.

Here is a good site for Linux commands that you would use in the Terminal.
