Power setting keep defaulting

I have to keep changing my power settings since they keep going back to thier default settings ever time.

Rather makes it pointless for me to setup my own custom profile in there...lol.

Anyone else with this issue?

Do you have some other sort of power management software installed? There's a possibility it could conflict with Vista's built-in power management.

Just using whats built into vista.

check that you don't have conflicting settings in the bios.
not sure if it will help but wont hurt to turn the power
settings off.

Already off.

I have manged to hack the hell out of the rest of vista to get around it short comings but this one i haven't quite got yet.

Mind you its not a big issue.
