hey, i wanna get the internet on my laptop working, and i was told i could connect it through my desktop. my desktop has 2 ethernet ports built in so i have all the hardware i need. can someone help me out with the settings?
ive tried a few but ended up with none of the computers with internet.
any help will be greatly apreciated.
I would recommend a router, but it is possible to do it with Windows ICS.
You didn't mention which Operating System you have so I'll just paste URLs for them all :)
Click on the URL of the O/S that your desktop is running.
