Got a quick question to ask. If your scanning for virus's and you find some and you stop your virus scanner and want to go to that directory and delete that file that is a virus is that ok to do like after deleting it the virus is not active on the pc anymore correct? Like it's the same thing if you were to get your virus scanner to do it?

You can delete a virus manually if you want unless of course the file is in use then go into safe mode and delete it. Also to be safe do another scan after words to make sure there are no remnants left over.
It is also good to scan with an another virus scanner, try one of the free online ones.
