Sudden Error...?

Was just working at the computer - and the wonderful BSOD came on...

Showing error:

0x000000F4 (0x00000003, 0x896DD338, 0x896DD4AC, 0x80606586)

I notice now that the LED's on the front of my PC case are lit - but not as bright as they were (ornimental LED's on front of an Antec case).

Any thoughts???

Sounds like a critical windows file has been corrupted. Make sure windows is up to date.

I would suspect some sort of virus, trojan, or spyware. Scan using your antivirus software, make sure definitions are not more than a week old. Free online virus scan here: http://housecall.trendmicro.com (http://housecall.trendmicro.com)
If your using XPSP2 you can check if windows protected files are corrupt by typing, start, run, cmd in window type sfc.exe
