Vista IE error messgae

I am running internet explorer 7 and windows vista.
Whenever I try to close a window I get an error message

" Internet explorer has stopped working"
a problem caused the progrm to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the progrm and notify you if a solution is availabl

I dont know why it started but Ididnt change anthing that I am aware of. It happens every single time I try to close a window.
