Not really shocked about this one but many are.

I have seen Fedor Emelianenko fight and he is very good but i doubt he could beat randys master control of the fights pace when he is at the top of his game.

Fedor is the greatest MMA fighter in the history of the sport. Although it would be a good fight everyone knows that Mr Emelianenko would win. He is the definition of the total package and his record and oppenents speak for themselves.

I for one am glad Randy did this to prove how much of a dirtbag Dana is.

If the huge rumors swirling around is true you will see Randy fight Fedor next year. Speculation right now is that Mark Cuban is the mystery owner of the newly reformed M-1 fight company which has signed Fedor. Randy could sign with them and the domino effect will ripple with major free agents to possibly follow like Josh Barnett, Gomi, Mark Hunt, etc. If this all comes to fruition then M-1 will automatically leapfrog over IFL, EliteXC, Strikeforce, Bodog to be the main competition for the UFC.

I have seen both fight and there is no question Fedor Emelianenko is something to worry about but he also hasn't really fought many huge guys.

Add that to the fact that when he fought Matt Lindland he only avoided the smash by holding onto the rope more then once.

Would he have wont without it who knows but its not something you see with the big guys these days over and over again in the same fight.

I would like to see him fight someone really serious to see how he stacks up.

Time shall shows us if he is the real deal of maybe could have been.

For now i think randy is stuck under contract for another 2 years.

In the end it would have been one hell of a fight with both standing a chance of winning, once i may have counted randy out but ever time one does he gets smaked...lol.

Its too bad Randy left, but at least he retired from UFC a champ and I think Dana is sleazy
