I'm assuming it's what works best for you...what would you say is the most user friendly/powerful?

One thing I would like to know is though, and this would make things so awesome for me, is do any of these programs support internal ADSL modems? :gsd: *crosses fingers*

The one I have been using for many years now and it's Toronto based is ClarkConnect.
VERY easy to maintain(becuase there isn't any, well almost none).

I'll check that out also.
Looks complicated though...but my question remains, will it support internal PCI DSL modems?

I don't see why not. Best to ask on their forum: http://www.clarkconnect.org/forums/ubbthreads.php

If you can use a webpage to fill in information, then your good to use the web interface on CC for simple things like forwarding ports to a machine on your network for p2p, turn on and off services, printer server, file server... then you can use this firewall. In most cases 99% of the time once you install it you can forget it. You won't need to get into the admin page to do anything at all. I use it just because I'm a power user. I have a friend who I installed it on a box for him and I can tell you he's gone WELL OVER 6 months without ever touching the box. MY old employer same deal. I remotely connect to the machine every few weeks to do a module(application) upgrades. But that can all done via the admin webpage.

Here is a really good review with many screen captures so you can see what the admin is like, and once again in most cases it's just install and thats it.

Well, I also use ClarkConnect and I have been for few years now since I switched from Freesco Router. It's easy, fairly stable and simple to maintain.
As for your internal adsl modem support, ClarkConnect is built on redrat so most gear that runs on RH, should run on CC. If there is a linux driver available for it, it will/can support it.
