leafs suck again

well well after watching the Washington caps come into T.O and completely destroy the maple leafs, I’m a little worried that they actually might not make the playoffs this year since they don't seem to learn from any of their mistakes from the beginning of the season.
Consistency is very important and they play well and work hard for one game and another they come out flat. Not to mention this is not doing me any good for my pro line picks.

What do you mean "again", they're in the same state they've been in for decades with a few exceptional years. And "exceptional" for a leafs fan means making the playoffs...

Until they officially tank and start investing in youth it will remain that way... You can't buy a championship team in the new NHL and buying past-their-prime vets is not the way to do it...
